Daley Reprieve is certified by the Bucks County Recovery House Association. We are conveniently located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania within walking distance to the Cornwells Heights and Eddington train stations. Residents stay in a comfortable, two-story home with a large backyard that we use for barbecues and games in the warmer months. Each resident is assigned a bedroom and will have either one or two roommates at maximum. Dinners are provided during the weekdays (five nights a week), and additional food is available for snacks, as well as coffee, milk, eggs, etc.
While living at Daley Reprieve, all residents are expecting to hold full-time employment, attend 12-step meetings regularly, obtain a sponsor, home-group and weekly service commitment, and to actively engage in the recovery community. In addition, residents are required to follow up with any after-care recommended by the referring facility, and/or courts, probation or other institutions. Residents are expected to take a drug test when requested. Drug tests are given randomly throughout the week, or at the discretion of the house manager or general manager. Upon their six-month anniversary of sobriety, residents may be given the opportunity to move to one of Daley Reprieve's three sober homes. We have sober residences in both Levittown, Pennsylvania as well as Croydon, Pennsylvania. While living in a sober house, residents no longer have a nightly curfew and are given their own bedroom with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Sober house residents are expected to stay actively involved in a 12-step program.
Daley Reprieve is generally a six-month program, and we encourage those who are newly sober to stay for a minimum of six months. Residents are free to stay for as little or as long as they desire, however the six-month stay is recommended in order for the resident to become grounded and actively involved in their early recovery. We provide a certificate of completion upon the resident's six-month anniversary of stay, provided the resident has remained sober and continues to abide by the house rules.
